Any time I want to change settings I need to reopen the software as an admin, but the mouse saves the settings so i don’t really need to change anything past my initial setup at all. It picked up the mouse immediately from there. SOLUTION: I simply closed the Logitech gaming software, and reopened it as an administrator. I will leave this post for anyone in the future with the same problem. EDIT: a few days later, problem solved :).
